A self-described modern-day renaissance man
What can I say? I’ve taken an interest in many things over the years. From web and graphic design to e-commerce to front-end development to digital marketing to branding to customer service to product ownership & management (the list goes on). But together, all these interests have naturally led me to become more empathetic and more focused on how a message, interaction, and experience help create real value for an end user or audience.
Product ownership & management has been more or less the culmination of all my previous learning and growth. A professional focus where you can effect a product’s positive change in more than one specialized area. A focus where being empathetic benefits not only you but the product, its users, and your company.
You learn about your users: who they are and what their Jobs-To-Be-Done (JBTD) are. You learn the ‘why’ of their JBTD, and you discover—and then validate—how your product can step in and assist with these JBTD—especially in ways that provide a lot of value and create a sticky experience.

While I have become more product-focused as of late, I still very much enjoy designing, branding, and digital marketing.
